Girl Scouts Troop 837
Troop 837 is an all-ages troop, with girls ranging in age from kindergarten to high school. The troop meets approximately twice a month during the school year on Sunday afternoons.
Some meetings are all-troop, with combined age groups meeting together, while other meetings are in age-specific breakout groups: Daisies (K-1st grade), Brownies (2nd-3rd grade), Juniors (4th-5th grade), Cadettes (6th thru 8th grades), Seniors & Ambassadors (high school). Troop 837 does a blend of outdoor adventure, badge work, and service projects in our community. The older girls are increasingly given leadership opportunities, by planning and presenting their own meetings and by working on the multi-phase projects that earn them the highest awards from Girl Scouts (bronze, silver, and gold awards). Administrative Troop Leader: Rebecca Utz Rebecca will direct you to the appropriate age-group leader for your child(ren) - contact her by phone: (801) 699-5685 or email: rebecca.utz3@gmail.com |
