The Golden Celery Competition asks faith communities throughout Utah to engage in friendly competition with one another to see who can donate the most pounds of food per attendee in the month of July. Winner receives the coveted Golden Celery trophy!

The past few months, Crossroads has been seeing more than 180 people per day at just their downtown Food Pantry. The food is flying off of their shelves. You can donate in one of the following 3 ways:

- Peanut butter
- Cereal
- Canned fruit/fruit cups
- Individual snacks (granola bars, etc)
- Ramen Crackers
- Canned tomatoes/tomato product
- Canned soup
- Water WILL be counted this year

- Please place donations in the bins labeled Crossroads Food Pantry by the doors.
- If you would like to make a monetary donation instead of buying groceries, mark your donation “Golden Celery”. Monetary donations will be accepted from July 1st through July 21st. This allows us time to shop and deliver the food. You can use the online link below or mail your check to Christ United Methodist Church, 2375 E 3300 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84109. Please include Golden Celery in the memo line.
- Donation drop offs can be made directly to the Pantry from Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm at 347 S 400 East.
