Sunday Mornings

Sunday School

Sunday School runs during the school year at 10:30am. Youth meet in one class, for 7th-12th graders, for discussions and sometimes relevant videos across various topics. Friends and visitors are always welcome!

Youth Sunday School and Youth Group are  planning to return when church services resume in the Sanctuary. Please watch the home page of this website for updated worship, meeting and class information.

Youth Group

The Youth Group meets almost every Sunday at 11:30am in the Youth Room (room 200).  All Youth in grades 7th-12th are welcome.

Our gatherings are set up to include:
- Sunday Funday, which includes fun activities at church or off site
- Service Sunday, doing various service projects chosen by the Youth
- Let's Talk Sunday, when different speakers come to discuss various topics, and
- Youth Planning Session, to plan future Youth Group activities.

Mission Trips

Service and spiritual development

The Jr High Mission Trip is usually a trip nearby for 4-6 days in June.  One of our favorite locations is Cortez, Co.

The Sr High Mission Trip is usually held in July, and involves service projects such as cleaning, painting, yard work, feeding the homeless, and working at food banks. Of course, we also make time for fun activities and sightseeing. Past trips have visited Lame Deer, MT; Twin Low, ID; Puerto Rico (2018); Portland, OR (2019); and coming up in 2020, Alamosa, CO.

Our main fundraiser for the youth mission trips is the annual Chili Bowl, held on Super Bowl Sunday.

Below are some photos from our trips! Click on any image to enlarge it and open a slideshow.

Local Service Projects

Serving, Loving, Caring in our community

Our heart of serving, loving, and caring doesn't just apply on our annual mission trips, but year-round in our own community! The youth participate in various service activities, building the community through our younger generations.

Fun

Friendships, laughter, & fun

Outside of Sunday School and mission trips -- and during those activities too -- the youth love to hang out, build relationships, and just have fun!
