Youth Group
Christ UMC is part of the Salt Lake Youth Cooperative! We meet with other UMC youth in the Salt Lake area and rotate between churches each month. Our Youth Director, Sina Davis, is a member of First UMC, Salt Lake and is here in worship every few months to connect with youth and families. April events will be onsite at Christ UMC on the second floor in our youth room, and out in the community. Check out the flyer for more information, or contact Sina Davis here.

Mission Trips
Service and spiritual development
The Jr High Mission Trip is usually a trip nearby for 4-6 days in June. One of our favorite locations is Cortez, CO.
The Sr High Mission Trip is usually held in July, and involves service projects such as cleaning, painting, yard work, feeding the homeless, and working at food banks. Of course, we also make time for fun activities and sightseeing. Past trips have visited Lame Deer, MT; Twin Low, ID; Puerto Rico (2018); Portland, OR (2019); Alamosa, CO (2021); and Puerto Rico (2022).
Our main fundraiser for the youth mission trips is the annual Chili Bowl, held on Super Bowl Sunday.

Serving, Loving, Caring in our community
Our heart of serving, loving, and caring doesn't just apply on our annual mission trips, but year-round in our own community! The youth participate in various service activities, building the community through our younger generations.

Friendships, laughter, & fun
Outside of Sunday School and mission trips -- and during those activities too -- the youth love to hang out, build relationships, and just have fun!
